The route for the Benchspace Walk Workshop (Saturday 12 July 2008) forms a loop round Southwark, Borough and Elephant & Castle. Starting from the busy, regenerated Southbank into Borough Market, we go on to encounter isolated, almost lost public spaces in residential areas, venture into the disorientating roundabouts of Elephant & Castle and finally return to the newly glossy Southwark around the London Development Agency's HQ.
The walk will take approx. 3 hours including 14 4-minute presentations of interventions given by invited particiapants at the highlighted benchspaces along the way.
